Ecco un'altra pellicola del maestro della tortura, quando fa un film, fa qualcosa agli attori e fa qualcosa allo spettatore, il suo scopo è ottenere questo. La storia diventa secondaria, l'angoscia, il raccapriccio, il disagio, invece, primari rispetto al tutto. Ci ho messo tre giorni a vederlo, l'ho visto a pezzi perché fino a più di metà, il film sembrava una lunghissima crisi depressiva di Kirsten Dunst e basta. Nella testa sadica di VonTrier l'attesa infinita nello scoprire la vera trama e ragione del film, dovrebbe renderlo più interessante, in realtà lo rende solo più "trier". Charlotte Gainsbourg piagnucola affranta e disperata, sembra siano andati a recuperarla dal set di Antichrist, se l'erano dimenticata là e lei è rimasta nella parte.
Anyway, bella regia, fotografia sopraffina, sceneggiatura e riprese alla "faccio come mi pare" e tanta tristezza, tanta depressione, tanto vomito emotivo da sembrare una seduta di psicodramma piuttosto che un film.
P.S. Dato che in questo periodo sono depresso, il film potrebbe essere un capolavoro ma io non ero dello spirito giusto per vedermelo.
Here is another movie from the master of torture, when he make a film, he does something, does something to the actors and the audience, its purpose is to get this. The story becomes secondary, anguish, disgust, discomfort, are primary. It took me three days to see it, I saw it in pieces because up to the middle of the film, it seems to be only the long journey through depression of Kirsten Dunst. In the head of the sadistic VonTrier wait forever to find the real plot of the film, should make it more interesting, in reality it only makes it more "Trier". Charlotte Gainsbourg whines distraught and desperate, it seems they went to retrieve her from the set of Antichrist, the troupe forgotten her and she remained in the part. Anyway, good direction, photography superfine, shooting and script "I do what I want" and so much sadness, so much depression, so it looks like an emotional vomiting psychodrama session rather than a movie.
P.S. Let's say that in this period I'm depressed too, so the film could be a masterpiece but I was not in the right mood to watch it.
