Summer Wars ha sbancato il Tokyo International Anime Fair 2010 vincendo sette premi, tra cui i più prestigiosi: Miglior prodotto originale, Miglior film giapponese e Anime dell’anno.
Un film d'animazione dove in brevissimo tempo dimentichi di avere davanti dei disegni, il realismo nei movimenti dei personaggi è sconcertante, il colore è acceso e brillante, come la storia. Ci si identifica davvero in Summer Wars, e c'è un po' di tutto, è un bel mix di sentimenti quello che si prova guardandolo. Il tutto è reso ancora più vario dal numero di tecniche d'animazione, rendering e grafica utilizzate.
Mi è piaciuto questo film, ho passato quasi due ore piacevoli guardandolo. Soprattutto mi ha suscitato ammirazione la grande capacità dei protagonisti di sposare le tradizioni con la tecnologia, il messaggio che nonostante tutto la famiglia è la cosa più importante, è veicolato dalla simpatia prorompente dell'esercito di familiari che animano la storia, a volte maldestri ma sempre accorati e simpatici.
Unico appunto, io l'ho visto sottotitolato, e i sub delle telecronache dei televisori (in alto), più quelli dei dialoghi (in basso), da seguire sono un po' difficili e a volte mi hanno fatto un po' confondere, io di solito non guardo i film due volte, ma capitasse...

Above all, I have been admired the great ability of the protagonists to marry tradition with technology, the message that despite all the family is the most important thing, is conveyed by the bursting army of family, the friendliness that animate the story, sometimes they are awkward but always heartfelt and funny.Only note, I saw it with subtitled, and divers of the television commentary (above), plus those of dialogue (below), I found all of this a bit 'difficult to follow and at times made me a bit' confused, I usually I do not watch the film twice, but...
