Zift

C'è una strana predestinazione al nero che aleggia nelle atmosfere di questa preziosa opera prima di Javor Gardev. Un bel film dai toni un po' thrill e un po' noir. La storia ti tiene incollato e si fa seguire con piacere, inoltre, alcune scelte di regia azzeccate, rendono il film molto originale. Mi è piaciuto Zift, mi sono sempre piaciuti gli antieroi, e il protagonista di questo film lo è di sicuro. La finissima satira che affiora ogni tanto, sbeffeggia con stile il regime bulgaro degli anni 60. L'acrimonia tipica delle culture dell'est rende la pellicola un buon pulp movie e ricorda allo spettatore che spesso la sorte, l'ironia e la morte se la giocano a carte mentre tu ti fai i tuoi piani.

There is a strange black predestination hovering in the atmosphere of this first valuable work of Javor Gardev. A good film a bit 'thrill and a little' noir. The story easy to followe, with pleasure, and moreover, some well-aimed directorial choices, make the movie very original. I liked Zift, I always liked anti-heroes, and the protagonist of this film, he is for sure. A subtlest satire that surfaces occasionally, mocking the style of the 60 Bulgarian regime. The bitterness typical of Eastern cultures, make this story a good pulp movie and reminds the viewer that fate, irony and death are playing cards just while you make your plans.
