Starred Up

Starred up è un prison movie bello duro. La cattività della bestia umana in gabbia si mischia inesorabilmente con l'amore, amore che cerca di germogliare con tutte le sue forze come una pianta dal cemento. Non è scontato questo film, nella storia e nel finale, un'ottima regia, buona fotografia e attori eccellenti. Un film che va visto insomma, uno di quei rari casi di cinematografia in cui la violenza non serve ad esaltare lo spettatore, ma lo fa riflettere.

Starred up is a good prison movie, very tough. The captivity of the human beast is mixed with love relentlessly, love that tries to sprout with all his strength on the concrete. Starred up is not obvious, in its plot and in the end, good directing, good photography and excellent acting. In conclusion, a film that must be seen, one of those rare cases of cinematography in which violence does not serve to enhance the viewer, but give him the reason to give some thought.
