In qualche maniera questo film mi ha ricordato It's a Free World di ken Loach. Anche in questa storia è ben chiaro come, quando il nostro guadagno personale (ormai catalizzatore unico di tutti i valori positivi) dipenda dalla costrizione degli altri, si faccia molto in fretta a discendere la china che porta al male più nero. Se avete figli giovani, quando vi chiedono di immigrazione, vi consiglierei di portarli a guardare questo film, giusto per capire che non tutti gli immigrati sono figli di borghesi che, appena laureati, sbarcano negli stai uniti e vanno a lavorare al MIT.
